Neville, our Landcare President, found a nest of baby hares on his Muckleford property, the parents took off when he discovered the nest.
Community Planting Success
In October last year we planted 432 plants on a property bordering the Muckleford Creek, to provide new vegetation connecting up to the riparian habitat. Six months on with so little rain, the plants are forging ahead and sticking their heads over the top of the guards. Well done Dan and Michael for keeping them alive.

Successful Community Planting
We had a great day on Saturday putting in plants along the Muckleford Creek. Thanks to our members for coming out and helping, and for the lunch provided by Michael and Dan. We put 432 plants in the ground with guards in about one and a half hours. Great going gang!

Community Planting Morning and Free Plants
This Saturday 12th October 2019 at 10am we have our community planting morning in Muckleford. Come and put in 20 plants and you get to take 20 plants home (or something like that!!!). At the very least we are getting together to plant, to chat, and to have some lunch, and to give away some plants.
Please let me know if you are coming for catering purposes and I’ll give you the address. Beth 0431219980 or mucklefordlandcare@gmail.com
(Many thanks to the North Central CMA for funding our last few planting projects, which funds for these plants come from.)
