These guys are everywhere, living in the wood pile, under the tank pump, in stumps of wood, under the caravan. They don’t seem fussy about their homes, and they are incredibly friendly. In fact, we often nearly step on them as they are in no hurry to flee.
Dear EJ.
That is a lovely photo of the Jackie lizard.
Would it be possible to have the original for a booklet that we are currently writing about local flora and fauna? Of course, we would acknowledge the source.

Sure Jill, send me an email via our gmail account and I’ll send you a couple of photos. It is mucklefordlandcare@gmail.com
Also known as Tree Dragons, these wonderfully camouflaged lizards seem to disappear whilst stationary on the trunk of a Grey Box. I lost count of the number of times one was taken to school for ‘show and tell’. Along with the microbats found in the rolled up outdoor blinds they were my children’s favourite exhibit.
P.S.
All creatures were carefully returned to where they came from.
